BOARD OF DIRECTORS
NVEDC is governed by a Board of Directors, which is comprised of private investors and public partners. The Board has responsibility for approving all financial plans, work plans and contracts upon recommendation from the Executive Committee. It also reviews reports from committee and action teams as well as staff. The Board receives information regarding community matters or initiatives and directs appropriate action. Private Investor Board members are required to sit on one or more committees of the organization and be financial contributors to the organization.
Board members serve a three-year term and are approved for that term by the full Board upon recommendation of the Executive Committee.
